New synthesiser business is music to our ears !

We have recently won a significant contract to manufacture a range of digital music synthesisers that are used to create amazing sounds by professional bands and studio musicians such as Jamiroquai.
We began manufacturing the complex, SMD electronic assemblies in volume during January using our new £330,000 investment in a Philips surface mount assembly line.
The Philips assembly line consists of a high speed component chip-shooter and fine pitch placement machine connected to other precision assembly process equipment that mounts some 21,000 components per hour.

As MD Steve Marshall explains, “The investment in this type of equipment and associated training for our staff, has widened the window of opportunity for new business and enables Offshore to be competitive in a very demanding, technical industry worldwide”.
The new business comes at an already busy time for us as we have been enjoying large repeat orders from existing long term customers for “slightly less exotic, but most welcome regular electronic equipment requirements” says Steve Marshall.
