New Line doubles our SMD Capacity and provides Leadfree capability.
Offshore Electronics are pleased to announce that we now have our second complete SMD line operational which has doubled our surface mount capacity.
The new line consists of a DEK265GSX screen printer with 2D optical inspection, a Gemline Topaz high speed chipshooter, a Gemline Emerald for high precision placement and a Blundel Plus8 reflow oven.
The Blundel Plus8 is an 8 zone oven which makes it ideal for soldering leadfree RoHS compliant boards. To complete our leadfree capability we have just ordered an new Blundel CMS400LF leadfree flow solder machine. This new flow solder machine is due to be installed early February.
