New SMD Line Being Installed
Our engineers are working flat out at our factory in Guernsey to get our second Gemline SMD line up and working.
The new line will consist of a DEK265GSX screen printer with 2D optical inspection, a Gemline Topaz high speed chipshooter and a Gemline Emerald for high precision placement.
Our Production Director, Ralph Ford can’t wait to take advantage of the benefits of the second line, “With this line we will be able to place up to 40,000 components per hour. That will enable us to offer a more responsive service to our customers”.
The new line will be operational soon. Watch this space for updates on its progress.
