News Archive - March 1999 - Offshore buy new Phillips SMD GEM line

Offshore have just installed a new 21,000 cph Philips surface mount line capable of mounting SMD components from 0402 chip devices to BGA and 54mm QFP down to 0.30mm pitch.

This latest investment in new production equipment consists of :
 

DEK precision screen printing equipment (500mm x 500mm max screen size).
Philips Topaz chip shooter & Philips Emerald fine pitch SMD placement machines.
Conceptronics JetStream forced air SMD reflow oven.
PAF board conveyors & Blundel screen cleaning equipment.
